Bacula 5.2.1 released - rpm packages already available
We are pround that we can already present rpm packages which were created in co-production with Bruno Friedmann from www.ioda-net.ch.
On 30.10.2011 then newest version of the open source backup software bacula was released.
The most importand enhacements of version 5.2.1 compared to 5.0.3:
- LZO compression
- new tray monitor
- Purge Migration Job
- enhanced pruning algorithm
- enhancements in the im RunScript and Plugin API
- ACL und XATTR enhancements
- database drivers can be loaded dynamically.

The rpm packages have been completely redesigned.
